Jitterbug Dance
World War 2 Jitterbug
*When someone was drafted for World War 2 their hometown would throw goodbye balls for the soldiers leaving.
* These were hard times for American's. The depression had just ended and we moved right into a World War. Dancing kept Hope alive.
\
*Jitterbug Spread To Europe as army men and sailors would find dance halls located where ever they were stationed.
*If soldier's were stationed at a base camp in the states they would go out to local dance halls for an evening of fun.
