Jitterbug aesthetic




Merriam-Webster defined Jitterbug dancing as
a Jazz variation of the two-step in which couples swing, balance, and twirl. Often times vigorous 
acrobatics are included.




                 

*Partners would use a lot of kicks and flicking feet. 

*Guy partners would swing the girl over his shoulder similar to the swing dancing we do now a days.

*The tempo was slowed slightly from the Lindy Hop but was still quite a bit faster then the Fox Trot or Charleston

They would improvise movements to their own boogie woogie beats. (example below) 

*The partners wouldn't always hold hands while                               dancing, sometimes they would just face each                                other while dancing apart.
